    The site has two areas, the main website that offers informed reviews from the Shore Angler Team and Guest Field Testers taken from the second area - the Shore Angler Forum.

    Skate Virgin? Not Any More !

    With a phone call from Blackmouth on Sunday asking if i fancied a shot at the elusive skate on fri 7th..... I said sounds good to me, after a little nagotiation with the misses

    So today it was..

    Set alarm for 4:30am this morning, and was to be at Rabs House for 6 am (40 mins away ).. woke up at 5:50am and thought sh**, running about like a blue **sed fly to get ready and Rab phones
    "were are you"
    "just woke up, il meet you at Callander by 7"

    Left house at 615am and drove with a 2lb weight attached to my feet.. got there at 07:02!!.. they were defo suprised to see me there at that time !! realistically I should of been there about 7:30am lol

    Over time my Surf Rigs have become more tuned and as the seasons change from winter to summer I find myself making up the bulk (if not all) of my snoods and some rig bodies with fluorocarbon.

    In my opinion the advantages far out way the limited disadvantages [knot strength - which can be overcome by using good 'perfect' knots such a Uni Knot, Palomar Knot or a Berkley Braid Knot - just don't put overlaps where there shouldn't be any and you'll all but over come the short fall - oh a make the knot slowly and with lots of lubrication.
