    Off the Ground style casting has long been at the forefront of Shore and Surf Fishing, but it's taken some time for a specialist lead to be developed. Don't get us wrong, these leads are ideal for all styles of casting but it is the OTG casts where this lead excels.     Gemini Spashdown™

    Genius or Flawed with an Achilles Heel? The Gemini splashdown has landed and has already been subject of much debate and praise. The doubters are saying it will clog up with grit and sand and the lock mechanism will not hold a decent sized hook!

    On the other hand, the splashdown fans, which there are already many, see it as a major break through in Off The Ground (OTG) casting.

    In shoreangler.co.uk's opinion, it seems the doubters points are either unsupported or not so realistic - ie how big do you need the hook? We decided to take a closer look.
