Inverbervie is in the north east of scotland, south of Stonehaven and North of Montrose. This is a shingle bay and quite deep, kelpy and rough ground further out famous for throwing up double figure cod after a good easterly blow, and the famous Inverbervie chippy !!!

The left hand side of bay is generally better, there is a river that flows out and underwater it veers right which forms a deep gullie close in only a 40 yard lob into the gullie with a 6/0 pulley rig loaded with macky and lug will put you right amoungst the fish. I've seen doubles caught at 25 yards fished there 2 Wednesdays ago and had 7 fish all insize and 3 undersize, fish were getting caught left right of me, quite busy with anglers and everyone was catching.
