    Loch Etive - 2 Experts & An Etive Virgin

    20th & 22 Aug 2010 - 2 Experts and an Etive Virgin

    Arthur, Karl & the Etive Virgin (me) headed up to Loch Etive on Fri afternoon for a 2 night session. We arrived mid afternoon at our choosen mark & set up our bivvies, rods etc for the night ahead.

    South Shields Pier, North East England

    Ok, heres a detailed desription of the place I call my second home, South Shields Pier. The pier is technically a breakwater, but nobody really has interest. It is a mile long from the base to the Round End, and a third of the way up there are gates that are locked at night and in bad weather to protect angler (even though the locals still climb around them! but we wouldn't endorse that in any way, be safe.)

    There are many marks on this 'Pier' for the varity of anglers and fishing is mainly done over mixed to rough ground. Here's a few of the popular marks.
